If you read the entire chapter you will see that it is an abomination in the eyes of God and what he is saying is that people who practice all of these things and have been educated that it is wrong and do so anyway bring about their own destruction. God is not condoning Homosexuality hes condeming it.

vs 26 starts, "for that cause" if you went to school as far as the 5th grade you would realize that you have to read previous verses to find out why they were given over to this behavior. They turned their back on God so he let them do sinful things. If you read on, in chapter 2 1- well, the whole chapter but at least read through verse 9. That will answer your question if you know how to read properly. It says that if you judge and do the same things as the person you judge, you will get the same punishment. Which is tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, Jew and Gentile alike. (Meaning everyone on the planet.) So, no, homosexuality is NOT justified in that passage. A homo can become a Christian, but they have to give up the life of sin they had before or they aren't a true Christian. You are a true Christian IF you continue in the word. Giving your life to God is like being born. You don't get an adult body, you start as a baby and learn. You can only learn by reading the scriptures and obeying them. Take the Bible as it is written, not as you think.

I didn't see anything in there that justified homosexuality. It is Paul talking to some Romans about some of their friends who initially chose christianity and then decided to mix it with some of the other Roman Gods of the day. Paul is saying that God let them revel in their new beliefs and as a result they became Homosexuals.

So I guess, according to this verse, Homosexuality is a result of not believing in God and isn't justified.

Unfortunatly hun if you read Romans 1 vs 21-25 its all about people turning away from god and god pretty much saying goahead you will pay later.

Keep trying but do remember always read around or you will fall flat. I am not Christian and I know Christian debunkers hate to put things in context but if what you saying is going to have credibility you have to do just that. Just as Christians cant ust quote the odd bible verse out of context either and they do.

If you would read the passages preceeding the ones you named, you would see that God allowed these people to have free will and that they turned their backs on God. He merely didn't stop them from doing the perverted things they were doing just as He does us today by allowing US to have free will to make such choices.

Also, at the end of v.26 you will see that they paid THE price for these perversions.

If you sincerely didn't catch that when you read it, I hope this helps...........

If that isn't the case.....

Don't mislead others by not posting the entire story

There is a price to be paid for false teachings

I hardly think calling something a "vile affection" means justifying it.

No, it is condimed by God. God hates the sin but not the sinner and will allow them to repent but if not then they have chosen their destony
