From that note, I have gotten into the bible. Before that the bible would be a scatter to me, by that means I would never read fully what is meant. I scattered my page readings, and I felt distant from GOD. Now I’m reading page to page from the beginning to the end, I haven’t finished it yet. Every night I would try to read a few pages. From this perspective, does more evil come my way? I feel like the evilness is trying to get in the way of the relationship I’m trying to rebuild with GOD.

If you haven't read much of the Bible, in your reading, do the page or two and then go to Psalms and read a chapter on top of your other reading. Why? Because the Psalms are filled with all 7 kinds of prayers. Read them out loud to make them your prayers. These are prayers that were prayed by God's prophets and kings. They worked for them, they will work for you. Even if they don't make sense, read them. When you finish, start over. Read them every day along with your other reading. God will direct your paths IF you continue in the word, which is Jesus. When we start living a life to God, the devil fights you. Why would he fight someone he already has? You get warfare when you obey God, but you get blessings as you overcome the evil!

Stop reading where you are right now... Go to Ephesians 6 and read that chapter. This is the chapter that tells us the ARMOR to bear... its God's armor. Prayer is the number one piece of armor...many do not go that far in the scriptures.. many leave that out as a piece of armor... but that is the MOST important piece.

At night, listen to the Christian music softly throughout the night.... keep your Bible open to Psalm 23. If you do this.. the music.. speaks of Jesus... the evil must flee .. it can't stand the name of Jesus.

I will pray for you!!!

Put that armor on daily..before you step out of bed in the morning... don't take it off

The devil will always try to tempt you. When you are trying to do the right thing, he will come in and try to mess you up more and more. Think about it, when you are already messing up, he really doesn't have to bother with you, because you are already doing the wrong thing. But, when you try to do the right thing, then he feels threatened. Just pray about it, and stay the course. If you do sin, which we all do, just ask for forgiveness and move on. Do not get discouraged, that is what satan wants. If we start to get discouraged then he is winning.

Eph.6:14-17.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. )

Indeed this is a common occurence, satan will do anything to distract you from this,he hates you and I and will not want you coming close to Christ thru the scriptures, but do not worry because he will have no power over you if you continue and trust in Christ your Savior.

No, but if you read the Bible cover to cover, I'd venture to guess that you will become an atheist by the time you finish.

Therefore, I encourage you to continue reading.
