I don't even know why you ask this question or why I am answering. You have already decided that we are Satanic and are are evil.
I serve no "god", I serve the Earth and Nature. I live in harmony and do not condemn anyone for what they believe. We do not put evil spells on anyone as some might have you believe. We do not worship Satan!. (We don't believe in the existance Satan he is a Christian creation!) We do our best for humanity and the environment. If we were being influenced or led by the devil, why would he teach us how to use healing herbs and why would he want us to advocate saving the earth? Why would he want us to use our very being to help others? Doesn't that sound more like of "God" than of "Satan"? Can we be so mislead that we spend our entire lives doing good things for people & nature and helping in any way that we can that we are actually doing the work of Satan?!? Get real.
Why do I feel the need to practice witchcraft? Why do you need to follow the words of men that say the words come from "God"? I live what I believe 24/7 not just one day a week and I do not have to go to a building one day a week to have someone explain what certain passages mean and tell me what I already know.
Power. I have no more power than you, it looks like you have been watching "Charmed" or "Harry Potter"! There is nothing flashy about witchcraft, we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with an assortment of herbs. Most of our "powers" are limited to the ability to help others by providing healing herbs. If you think our use of herbs is bad then I suggest you stop using aspirin (willow bark), valium (valerian), digitalis (foxglove) plus inummerable other "drugs" because they are based on herbal knowledge. And I don't think you will find them in the bible either! And Please! Don't get a mid-wife to bring you child into the world, because that is another practice attributed to witches! Oh! Don't forget aromatherapy! Don't forget that the field of medicine was also originated by witches if you want to get down to basics. The cadeuces (the medical symbol) is ancient Celtic in origin, it is 2 serpents entwined on a staff signifying knowledge & wisdom. I am sure that is not in the bible either!!! Especially since the actual symbol predates Christ.
Who speaks to me? As in a supreme being? or the supposed words of one? Nature speaks to me, the earth says men are killing her by cutting down the rain forests, polluting the air & water, contaminating the land with chemical pesticides. Who speaks to you and do they say anything other than "follow me"? And do you follow the word of love, peace and acceptance? Because I do!

As far as I can tell (I'm not a witch though so I'm not sure), witchcraft is a part of Wicca, which is a religion. They worship the Goddess and her consort. Satan has nothing to do with it. The common Satan image is a mix of the consort and some of the old Greek gods, the stuff Christianity had to defeat to become the major religion. Wicca is more earth based than Christianity. It focuses more on Nature as an aspect of the Divine, rather than as created by the Divine. It brings more peace than power. Peace and love is the purpose of all dominant religions.

Witches do not serve the devil. Most people who practice witchcraft are Pagans or Wiccans, and neither of them even believes in your Satan. You really need to stop reading Christian apologetics sites.
Now, I'm an Asatruar, I do not typically go around practicing magic. But I can tell you this much, I don't serve anyone, nor do I bow down to any God. I do not view my relationship with the Norse Gods as a master/slave relationship, I see them more as like family or close friends. Most Pagans feel the same way as I do when it comes to their Gods.
EDIT: Methinks you can't read very clearly my dear, I specifically state that I do not "serve" any Gods. Sorry, but I'm not into the whole S&M thing when it comes to religion. ;-)

Not all witches even believe in deities, and some only do in a formal, symbolic sense. I don't know anyone who 'serves' any deities. I also don't know anyone who hears voices.
The practice of witchcraft is intended to focus on and align with desired spiritual energies. It's about spiritual self-improvement, not outward power. Most spells are a type of meditation.
You'd probably benefit from talking to someone in person, you'd get fuller explanations than what we have space here to provide.

Witches don't serve anyone, they have no god, in the Wiccan belief, there is no higher power, there is no god and no satan, there are leaders of the good world and evil world so to speak. Witchcraft isn't practiced for power it is practiced because it is an innate trait from a bloodline. The same way as a hispanic family would speak spanish, a wiccan family will practice witchcraft. Noone speaks to them or anything like that. Save your stereotypes for other ignorant people such as yourself.
Watch the show "Charmed" sometime, you may get a better hint.

Wiccans worship a number of Gods and Goddesses. There are good witches and bad witches. Good witches use their magic to help people whereas bad witches use their magic to kill or hurt other people. They are not devil worshippers. If you want to read more on Wicca try checking out these websites.

I serve my children, my community, & the world.
I have a whole pantheon of Gods and Goddesses to guide me.
I practice rituals and spellcraft to honor them and to help others.
The rituals do not give me any more or less power than I already possess.
Satan is a Christian demon. I don't serve him because I don't believe he exists.
My favorite Goddess is Brigit.

Hi Hazel,
As a Christian, we read that if we are not following GOD then we follow satan. I DO NOT study witchcraft but I can tell you that even if they do not believe in satan, they are following his principals to overthrow GOD. I hope that those who are doing so will recognize that the benefits that may be achieved are much less than the end result. We are seeking an eternal resting place in Heaven. IT is not too late for you right now to change course and follow our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST the SON of GOD! Email me for further study materials. Have a great day!!

David Cross had a funny excerpt about a woman he knew, serves as a nice parallel.
"I don't know much about you Jews... can y'all eat oatmeal?"
