It is important to be affectionate be it sex or maybe just cuddling to show your partner you love them, Sex was designed for two people that love each other and is special because it is not shared with anyone else, however sex is not the most important factor in a relationship.

Because if it's non-existent it will mean the END of the relationship. Sex is so good when both people are into it, enjoying it and giving each other pleasure. I can't seem to think of any reason why not to have sex in a committed relationship.

I don't know why it IS so important, but I definitely know it FEELS important!
Being in a relationship is about knowing one another intimately. Sex is just another step into intimacy.

im really not so sure about that. but it used to not be important in the beginning before we did it. we only did 4 play but now since we have done it it seems like all we do is have sex. also we are hanging out in a car all day

Sex is our (men) most primal and purposefull instinct! It is in fact the ONLY reason we are here is it not? Without it there would be no perpetuation of our species. So of coarse we are wired to WANT sex I am sorry but thats biology.

that isn't something that can be simply answered, like why is the sky blue. it can be answered, yes, but it's pretty tough. like one of those questions "how will I know when i'm in love". When you meet that special someone and you have that magic chemistry you will know the answer to this question, especially when circimstance keeps you from having sex for a few weeks.

because it is a way of expressing your love for eachother if you are in a stable commited relationship and you learn to know what is pleasurable for both of you,also only do what you feel comfortable with or you will not enjoy it!

Honestly because it is the most intimate you can be with a person. It requires trust and that is THE ONE PART OF A RELATIONSHIP YOU CAN NOT FORGET ABOUT!
