My papillon had a diarrhea accident and it's all over his backside (luckily the 'accident' happened outside and not on my rug). How do I get the poop off? It's now dried, as it happened during the night. Do I wash as normal, take him to the groomers and let them do it...ack! Help!

You could put the papillon in a warm bath, let him soak for about 5 to 10 minutes, and bath him as normal. If this continues to be a problem you could get the hair on his backside trimmed.

If it's a lot then try giving him a bath. Use warm water and his regular shampoo. If it's only a little bit then you can use baby wipes. My dog has this sometimes and it's what my vet told me.

Good Luck!
