They dont like answering questions that shake thier beliefs, ive noticed that, and sometimes questions that show christian's thier dark side get removed immediately from Yahoo forums, i think the reason is because of whoever runs this site, is a bit biased.

Where is this definition found?
Personally, I would say that they were misguided Christians - not necessarily false Christians.
Surely God alone can judge who is and who is not a true Christian. We are told by the apostle Paul to "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling"; notice it's not someone else's salvation, but your own.
We believe that on the day of judgment, all will be called to account for the things they have done in this life; Christians especially will be accountable because they have been given a knowledge of the truth. Then, I suppose, we will see just who was and who wasn't a true Christian.
Hope this helps and sorry I didn't spot your original question.

I don't think it's the act of committing those crimes that makes those people false Christians. It's just that those crimes show up the fact that those people probably aren't Christians. Being a Christian means that you've been reconciled with God, and he adopts you as his child, and when you've chosen to become a Christian he'll help you to become more like the person he designed you to be - someone who reflects his character more. Therefore, if someone is doing stuff that goes against what God is like and how God wants people to live, that can be a sign that they're not genuinely in that life-changing relationship with him. Of course, genuine Christians get stuff wrong all the time, so it's not easy to tell, but if someone persistently does stuff God doesn't like, and seems to make no progress in becoming more like Jesus, there's a good chance they're not genuine Christians, whatever they say their motivations are.

First question, they don't ignore your questions, they are ignorant as to the answer. For the original question, yes, someone who calls them-self a christian and commits crimes "in the name of God" are not really christian and thus, false christians. Hope this clears it up for you. (From the answers above, I prove my point. Some of the answers make absolutely no sense!)

The scriptures are clear. Jesus at Matthew 7:21 said that "not everyone saying to me "Lord, Lord" will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heaven will. Obviously if a person claims to be a Christian and participates in unchristian conduct would be false Christians.
So Jesus himself said there would be false christians.

I asked a question to the christians, it was reported as violation. The question was "Do we really need the Old testament" . I read the answers to your question and most of the answers are very true.

Many False Christians will commit crimes all in the name of Christ, Jesus talks about just those sort of people, You can believe in Christ, and even have been a good Christian at one time, but fall, (Forfiet salvation).
In Matthew 7:21 Jesus spoke about this saying "Not every one who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven, for on that day they will say to me, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
These ar the sort that Christ warns us about.

that is areally good question. i mean during the christain crusades they killed hundreds of thousands of people in the name of christ. in the bible unless you have been spoken to by god any killing is wrong. now the question is who can say if you have been spoken to by god. the sad truth is that religion as been twisted so much by corrupt ministy leaders and politics that the truth is hard to find. everyone is trying to make a buck and the general pubilc is being lead by the nose.

i think that there are some christians who would ignore questions directed towards them as they feel that they are being attacked by non christians although there are many christians who would answer the question although some do sidestep the question
