We made a cute clock for my husband for Father's Day. They have a kit at Michaels that comes with the wooden clock, hands, mechanicals, etc. You can paint it, select neat number stickers, and glue a photo of you and your son in the center.
Another idea is to make a treasure hunt game with your son. You can buy a treasure box at Michaels and paint it. Have your son pick out some "treasures" at the dollar store or Target (along with something nice from you). Then, create a treasure hunt for mom to find the box.

Get a nice picture frame, some poster board and some finger paint---now all you need are those chubby little hands or feet--my husband did my little girls hand prints for mothers day last year--he had some old tile squares, but they took forever to dry--make sure you help the child write thier name and the year on it so Mommy can always remember when...

There are lots of great options in the arts and crafts realm.
You could take the child to one of those painting pottery places and he/she could paint mom a mug or a Christmas tree ornament.
Another option would be to frame a drawing/painting that the child makes of mom or the whole family.
You also could get one of those stained glass kits at an arts and crafts store, where they choose the colors and patterns and you bake it in the oven.

You could get a picture frame that plain and has room to decorate and buy little things to help him/her glue on to it (with supervision of course) then put a picture of the child in it or a picture of the child and the mother. Or you could buy one of those hand and foot print kits those are so cute. I wish I had one from when my son was smaller.

You do have a proficient infant, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's as much as you whether or no longer you want to push her academically at such an early age. you ought to 'homestead college' her till she is sufficiently previous for pre college on your area - i.e. teach her a clean word daily yet make it relaxing, babies might desire to benefit a thank you to play and have interaction from an early age. i will establish why you want your infant in school now as she is obviously quite intelligent, yet i in my view does no longer want her to strengthen up too quickly and lose her formative years. i could p.c. on enjoying educational video games at homestead, so she will learn in a calming way. And at pre-college i could enable her play with the different babies, do no longer push for too a lot education yet on the comparable time pay attention that she isn't turning out to be to be bored. whilst she starts college that's possibly that she listed on the proficient and proficient sign in (in the event that they have them the place you're - i'm in the united kingdom) and her instructors might have the flexibility to easily right advise you with the wonderful direction of action to take to fulfill her ability.

My son makes me a mold of his footprints and his hand prints. Then he decorates them using stones, leaves, one year his favorite hot wheel. I place the stepping stones in my garden. I love them I can measure how much he has grown over the years.

A simple card is the best gift, put the childs handprint on it so that she can look back and see it in later years.
