RE: the Vodka, I store my vodka in the freezer and it keeps it's property no matter what. I take it out of the freezer and it's still a liquid. When you mix it, it quickly adapts to it's ambient temperature and more or less stablizes at the temperature of the OJ, et al mixes, it will NOT freeze your throat.

Yes I did. That is why you should never store Vodka in the freezer, no matter how cold you like it. You could literally freeze your throat drinking it. This is because the "freezing" temperature of alcohol is much lower than that of water.

yup, I knew that, and adding glycerin makes that "gel" even more maleable. Even in the presence of alcohol, water crystals can form, but not in the presence of glycerin which prevents the surface tension of water.
