I have to have salad cream on then as well my boyfreind thinks its discusting but I love it.

I absoslutely LOVE fish finger and salad cream sandwiches!
Not sure that the fish fingers are as tasty as they used to be when I was a kid though!
Maybe I'm just getting old - old people always say things like that don't they?

yes yes and double yes!!!!! I never knew of these until one day, visiting my friend, she made a fishfinger sarnie for her little boy. Ooooh, the aroma of them and the squishiness of them made me drool with hunger, so she made one for me.
And from the moment that golden battered fish, wedged between two buttery doorstops of bread, entered my mouth I found new epicurean ecstasy!!!! And I have always got fishfingers in the freezer now, for when I fancy a butty.
Ooooh just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Now I shall go down to the kitchen and make myself a fishfinger buttie ...... yum yum and double-treble YUM! Slurp!

Mmmmmmmm, I had forgotten just how much i love them. For me, they had to be fried in very shallow oil, until the breadcrumb coating was crispy. Then straight into two slices of buttered fresh bread, eat and enjoy.
Damn i gotta get some tonight!! :-)

I haven't had one in a long time as we haven't had any in... but you've gave a me a craving for them now.. I want one!!

PS - also try fish-cake sarnies... put two in the bread and smooth them down with your knife... then add salad cream too.... Looks messy but tastes fab!!

I luv fish finger sandwiches.I know its unhealthy but i pile a loada margarine on it to melt with the fish fingers!

They are brilliant, my favourite thing is to 3/4 cook them and then whack them in between two slices of bread and then put them in a toasted sandwich maker then pour on lots of ketchup........... Ohhhhh I want one now.
This is your fault Im gonna have to buy fish fingers on my way home from work now. %^)
