Believers.... What would you do if tomorrow you woke up to find solid incontrivertable proof that God/s don't exist, and that the bible was completely fictitious?? What would you think, feel, say or do if you found out everything you believed or knew was false?
Non-believers... What would you do if tomorrow you woke up to find incontrivertable evidence that God/s do exists and creation as written in the bible really did happen?? What would you think, feel, say or do if you found out everything you believed or knew was false?
Please keep in mind this is a hypothetical question, I am not asking for a debate about the existence or non existence of God/s. I am merely asking "what if" tomorrow we had absolute proof either way, how would that affect you??

PS I personally dont believe in any god/s goddesses etc of any kind... the reason I added S to the end of it was to include any god/s that different people believe in. I wasnt specifically reffering to any god/s in particular just whatever ones people answering this question believe or disbelieve in.

As an agnostic, I say incontrivertable proof either way would be great. I think with that you would have to believe.
If God was proven not to exist, I would say Oh well, and then try to console my friends and family who were Christians and just found out that they spent their life worshiping an idea.
If God was proven to exist, I would want to know why he took so long, and waited through wars and divisions to let us know he was there. Then I would go to my Athiest friends and console them, and tell them they really should log on to Yahoo Answers and apologize to all the Christians they were harassing.

if i woke up to find that god was real, i would be the happiest girl alive! i so truly wish that there was a god to believe in, and there was a definitive answer to everything that i have questions for. However, in my life experiences, i haven't found evidence sufficient enough for me to believe that such a thing exists. If i woke up and found out that there was a god, i would be the first one at the church or religious establishment having a conversation with him.

For me it isn't too much of a problem. Disbelief in God is a choice I make not something I cling to dogmatically. If I'm wrong I'm wrong-so what. If the religionists are wrong however they might have difficulty coming to terms with the fact that their dogma was meaningless. I've always believed that hell wouldn't be filled with bad people-just people who refuse to admit that they could ever be wrong.

Were there any incontrovertible evidence of any God(s), I would believe in the existence of that God(s). The question is fairly loaded, though, as it inherently presumes that the God in question was the Christian one as defined in the interpretation of the Bible that you choose to follow. What if the incontrovertible evidence pointed to the Aztec God? Would you drop Christianity?

If I found absolute proof that a supernatural being exists that can cause worldwide floods, kill innocent infants, and demand contradictive behavior, I'd turn off my ability to think rationally and blindly accept anything this supernatural being wanted to do. If it wanted to kill children who did no harm, and demanded I think that this is just, I'd say "okay." I'd become a blind, irrational follower in obedience.
In short, I'd become a christian (again).

I don't think there is incontrovertible proof for God's existence. There are too many flaws and discrepancies in the Bible. I also don't think there is anything in this world that can be proven to exist incontrovertibly. Even me or you.
