Hello,
(ANS) YES! Curries, thats a bit of a mythe in my opinion. Keeping and reheating a curry depends ALOT on the type of curry involved. If its a meat, fish or poultary (chicken, etc) curry cook and eat on the same day, it can be kept 24hrs only reheated once and ONLY once. Otherwise any longer and your asking for stomach troubles.
**Same advise goes for white or brown cooked rice, keep only a shortish amount of time, in a cool dry place preferably. only reheat x1 otherwise throw it out.

i am chinese and the best person to answer your question would be the chinese cos they eat rice more than anyone else !!! :)
(just in case you're wondering, the japanese put a little vinegar in their rice so it's not counted)
it is OK to eat overnight or leftover rice for say maybe 3 days if you seal and refrigerate it properly.
to make a good fried rice, every chinese cook would use overnight rice so i don't agree with some of the answers written earlier.
p/s: the best type of rice to go with curries is the BASMATI rice.. which is the long-grained rice that you can usually find in any indian restaurants.
curries on the other hand are a separate matter... it doesn't keep well especially if you use coconut milk in it.
happy eating !!! as the chinese would say - 'sik fan hou' = eating rice is good!!
:)

Because you made a curry with it I would say no more that 3 days max from the time you cooked it. Regular plain rice can last a little longer as long as you keep it in a sealed container in an adequetly cooled fridge.

Depends on the temperature that its kept in. If you keep it in the
refridgerator at 2 deg. Celcius you can reheat it again not more
than 48 hours. Curry and rice together turns bad very easily
due to the coconut juice that you have added. This is a must
for curry. Bon appetite..

White rice has a very high starch content, which is food for bacteria, so it is very prone to growing bacteria. I would try to eat it today. You could also make new rice and eat the same curry.

Rice is very susceptible to going off and should not be kept for use, even in a fridge, for more than 1 day.

ought to be fantastic. I even have heard some people say that rice isn't in fantastic condition for human intake after storage in the refrigerator. I even have yet to take heed to some style of clarification for this, and rather, maximum of my coworkers consume leftover rice daily for lunch and that they are fantastic.

It will keep quite safely in your fridge if covered, for at least 3 to 5 days!
Remember to reheat thoroughly.
Your fridge temperature should ideally be kept at 1c to 5c.

I'd say it will still be ok - if you have kept it in a sealed container in the fridge since yesterday.
