Good Question. I think it is all a matter of perspective. If you happen to be living in the United States or another civilized country and get to eat every day, you may say "Thank God I have been blessed, God must love me" However, if you are living in a third world country and are eating once a week from a garbage dump on the edge of a refugee camp, you may have a different perspective and say "Please God, what have I done to deserve this, You must hate me"
If you are a baby born only to starve to death or die in pain from a disease, you may wonder why you were created, and whether Love had anything to do with it.
Maybe the poor, starving and dying were created to show those that the creator really loves, exactly how bad it could be if he didn't love them.

Loves us enough that we are still alive today. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

We have created ourselves. If you don't love your humanity, you don't love the creation or creator.

Yes. So much that he gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life.
