I'm looking for a REALLY good protein supplement (pills, shakes, etc.) that I could use. I'm looking for MAXIMUM gains in the least ammount of time (combined with weight lifting is even better since i do that anyways).

Also, i would like something that, when i do eventunately stop taking it/them, i will keep muscles (ie: they won't get smaller or go away after i stop taking the supplement).

I'm 15, but people say that i look 17 or more...so i have a pretty good frame. I'm also under a budget, so anything under $100 would work perfectly for me.

One of the cheapest and best is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein. One I use.

The best source of protein is ion-exchange whey protein. It's low in lactose so you don't get a stomach ache, and it has superior biological value (which means it may yield more usable grams of protein than other protein supplements). And it's under $40. Here is the link:

Anything that is 100% whey protien isolate is perfect for post-workout. Isopure, IDS Whey Isolate (cappichino is a personal favorite). And for during they day, Muscle Milk is perfect. Very long lasting protien, healthy fats, and if you make it with skim milk it tastes like a legitimate milkshake. Have some oatmeal with it and you'll have an instant breakfast.
