First of all, if you have an unneutered male, are you sure its a phantom pregnancy?

Secondly, phantom pregnancy symptoms usually subside on their own without treatment, so you should not worry.

Third, I strongly suggest you get both your dogs spayed and neutered unless you plan on showing them to their championship and then breeding them later after all of their health checks have been completed to ensure they are quality examples of their breed. It will prevent a lot of potential reproductive health problems for both dogs and also prevent producing more puppies in a world where there are already more dogs without homes than potential owners.

If she's still in season, it's unlikely she's having a phantom. Best thing to do is not to encourage her if she soes start having symptons, take her toys off her if she starts hoarding those, give her plenty of mental & physical exercise.

If she's in season and your male is intact I would take your girl to the vet. It's not too late if you don't want pups.

Just let it pass; if your positive she is not pregnant by any other dog either. Where do you keep this female at, inside or outside?

cover your ears! my afghan had phantoms for years and she'd hide under the stairs, rip up the carpet and HOWL !!!! for days. honestly if you are not gonna breed from her get her spayed, and its a myth it dosent stop after a litter.

Let her go thru with it. My vet says it's best. My Great Dane has on once every 6 months we have found it entertaining the way she will steal our socks and try and nurse them.
