I was a big time smoker, like a pack a day for 15 years. I was tempted to try Zyban or Wellbutrin, but they take time to get into your system and have side affect so I decided to try the patch.

It lasted for 3 days, I was miserable and still wanted a cig. So I went and bought the Nicorette Gum. I was always skeptical of using gum to quit. But I still tried it anyway. It worked. Anytime, and I mean anytime, I wanted a cigarette I grabbed a piece of the gum. I even put some in my car and by the phone.... my usual smoking triggers. It really helped me quit. I never thought anything would help me.

Although the gum helped me and Zyban may hel you. I think the key to quitting is WILLPOWER. You can't find it in in a pill or gum. They are there to help you reach your goal. Just remember once you quit, QUIT. No cheating. One cigarette will lead to another.

You'll be so proud of yourself once you make it there!Good luck.

Yeah I gave up smoking easily on Zyban, but have since started smoking again, I hope you have better luck and be prepaired for a little come down when you come off the pills.

yes. It is the same as Wellbutrin (an anti-depressant drug) it helped some, but I never completely quit. It did help me be less moody.
