I am 5'-8", 160 lbs. I am trying to loose around 20 lbs and I cannot seem to get the anywhere. I work out 4 times a week in the morning, lifting for 30 min and running 60 min. Then work out 2 times a week at night at a boxing gym for around 90 min, punching the bag and sparing. I have been working out this hard for over 3 years. I eat around 1600 calories a day and I eat very healthy, I never eat fried food, eat sugar twice a week at the most. I am wondering what I need to change so I can reduce my weight. I have counting my points with weight watchers off and on for 4 years and now I feel like I might be gaining weight from not eating enough, but I am not sure. I am allowed 22 points a day and 4 points extra if I work out. Some days I am working out 3 hours and I only get 4 points extra, does this seem correct? Any suggestions on what I need to do to drop the pounds are great appreciated.

Really you are working hard, your effort is praiseworthy. You should not get depressed, whether you loose or not is not of much importance; you will keep fit throughout life is imp.
You are not taking spicy and fatty food eventhen you are putting on means there seems to be a harmonic problem.
You should minimise carbohydrates and add vegitables and salads.
When good hunger keep only on sprouts, they will fulfil vitamin and protein requirement and you can loose too.
Keeping 1/2 day on salads is also good idea.

You've come such a long way, I really don't think you need the scale anymore - seriously. I think you would be much better off knowing that your fat level is probably extremely low. During this time, did you notice any changes in the way your body looks? If you're working out this much consistently you must have gained muscle while losing fat, which is why the scale didn't budge as much as you thought it would. Have your fat percentage measured at the gym and they will probably tell you you're doing everything right. Well done!

Have you been always overweight your whole life. Maybe you should check your thyroid. If it is recent gain it could be menopause or a slower in your metabolic rate. If not give it a few more weeks then schedule something with a nutritionist :)

My story is similar - lifelong athlete, eating healthy etc... But could never lose the weight.
My brother referred me to a cleanse product that he tried and it actaully worked as it claims.

Amazing stuff... really.
