I have had a neighbor whose been a mouthy jerk, and has had his dog crap on my lawn and then deny it was not his dog. Ive witness his dog.do the dirty deed and.....

1. pissing in my bushes
2. wandering around without a leash

And my neighbor is a sarcastic big mouth jerk who likes to stick his nose into everyones business and instead of saying hello alwys has a stupid remark about something we have or are doing.

Hes also made comments to me about my yard on what i need to do to make it look nice to his standards.

He told me call the cops one time if you dont like it about his dog wandering in my yard but i never did because i know damn well the cops wont do crap.

I just hate the sight of him, even though his wife is nice.

he told me to stay of his property after we had words. Now when i see him he tried to speak with me, but i just acted like he was not even there. I dont want anything to do with him.

A fence would solve all the problems. If the dog leaves a package and you know it was his dog---give it back to him,on his lawn like you found it.Next time the dog wanders call the Cops.He told you to, and tell them what he told you to do.They will go talk to him after that and he'll know that they are now aware.Don't you just hate those type of people?I sure do.

Sounds like you are in a rough place with your neighbor anyway. I would suggest the fence. I can't stand yards without fences anyway. It will keep the dog out and make your yard more private. depending on the neighborhood codes etc, you may even have the neighbors pay for 1/2 the cost of the fence. Personally though, I'd have nothing to do with it, put up the fence and end it there.

Most ALL cities have a leash law that states the dog must be on a leash at all times. Check into this. get a picture of the dog crapping in your yard. Several if you can that depict different shadows(this will differentiate time of day) and maybe time of the yr. (Is there snow, rain, leaves, etc on the ground) Some cameras have a time and date stamp available too. Most digitals do. I would NOT go to the expense of a fence unless you can comfortably afford it and you want it.
I definitely would throw the shite back in his yard. Probably in the driveway or porch where he would have to clean it or step in it. He may get the hint. Don't let him see you put it back there though. Just sit back and chuckle.

Look up your local county/city code for the dog crapping and peeing in your yard. See what the fines are, and take a few pictures of the deed. Turn over copies of the evidence to the punk neighbor and the police. Tell him not to talk to you or come onto your property unless he wishes to be arrested.

The police hate these civil issues and will talk the neighbor down. They may get angry with you too - don't loose your cool, just tell them politely what has been happening and that you are fed up with it.
