Well you could try what I do, well did because now I have quite gingerish hair because of the salon that messed it up from my natual dark blonde. (dont go to keith halls) (and I'm 16)
You could use sunsilk straight shampoo & conditioner its in a purple shaped bottle not hard to miss.
It works wonders & detangles and then I use superskinny which you can get from the local hairdressers just coat the ends about a quarter then blowdry neatly and then straighten with straightening spray (any brand) (good luck sweetie) =)

I started using a product called Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Vera Shampoo. It's a green bottle with a picture of an olive on front. (if you type olive oil shampoo in yahoo image search it's the 3rd pic on the second row or just cut and paste the link and it will show picture. You can find this product in you local Wal-mart stores for about $5.00. You don't even need to use conditioner. It's located in the hair products for isle for African-American type hair. I am hispanic with really curly hair and have always used both shampoo and conditioner plus detangler. Now I just use this. It leaves you hair smooth, clean and removes all residue from scalp. I know, i use lots of hairspray and straighten my hair everyday with the blowdryer and people often rave on how shiny and beautiful my hair looks. Another product i combine is the the same brand but its Oil Sheen Spray to help straighten. Just a little goes a long way other wise it becomes too oily. Just a quick spray about 6-8 inches from hair, and I do mean quick!

shampoo your hair with whatever shampoo and use a deep conditioner, while in the shower comb the deep conditioner through with a wide toothed comb, and leave it in for a few minutes. Rinse it out. After showering once your hair is dry, if you already have naturally straight hair just straighten the top layer, and brush it a lot. Use Regis silk drops and rub in your hands then apply to the underneath of your hair first then all over avoiding roots. Brush again. It works great.

my daughter has that type of hair so we have tried many products on her hair to get it soft and not so frizzy. We use bio-silk products..shampoo and conditioner..they make a great product called "silk therapy" I put that on her hair before I curl it and then after wards. It smoothes it down and gives it shine. They also have a shine spray that i use when all done styling hair. Watch the hairspray tat can make your hair crispy.

i use garnier frutus! I love it! They have alot of products, as well for that stuff....Like they have this serum that you can put into your hair and it makes your hair smooth and shiny! If your hair knots quite abit its either thin, or you need to get a trim! Usually those signs are because you need a trim! Umm straigtening your hair as well is a great way to make your hair smooth!!! Hope this helps!

- blow dry it at modern-day (making use of a around brush together as you blow dry) - positioned your hair in warm rollers (great sized), as quickly as you're taking out the rollers, brush your hair vigorously (lots of the curl will loosen, different than the ends), this might circulate away your hair frequently at modern-day with somewhat turn decrease than or over on the ends *tip - save the rollers parallel (horizontal) to the floor on your hair, no longer perpindicular (vertical), this might sidestep the banana curl look
