You should check with property standards in your city/county. Sometimes it's ok to do so, but if you put these cars on the street then it becomes a problem.

Check with Trading Standards at you Local Authority Environmental Health Department. You would usually need a traders licence and may have to register your home as a business. There may be tax implications. Ask your local Inland Revenue Department.

If you live in the country with over 5 acres, probably, and without a problem. If you live in a private gated community, it's probably against the rules to do so.
If you are between those two extremes, check with your city code enforcement officer (sometimes called the building inspector) to see what your zoning is, and what is allow in that zoning area. Then check your state or local laws. Some areas have laws on the books that if you sell more than "X" cars a year you are a dealer and must be licensed.

You didn't say were you are but here if you sell more then 10 cars a year you have to have a car dealership license and pay taxes and all that good stuff. Otherwise yes you can sell a few cars out of your driveway no problem.

Legally, you can only sell up to 5 cars per year, without a dealers license, and no, you cannot get a dealers license for home. To obtain one of those, you must have an approved location, get bonded, and all sorts of other delightful fun stuff, been there done that, was lots of fun. Hope that helps.

Depends on your state laws. Talk to your local BMV.
In Ohio a dealer or wholesaler must have a lot space of at least 1/2 acre and it must have a building at least 10x10 on the property along with lights.
But when I lived in SC, people sold cars right out of their front yard, no license really needed, no real laws on it all.
Find out for sure first.....otherwise the penalties and other fines could be 10 times the profit of any car.

Many states will allow you to sell up to three autos in the course of a year. However this number varies state to state. After that they consider you a dealer and you must be licensed as such according to the laws in your state.

dont misrepresent the car...dont be a curbstoner
let the buyer know you re-sell cars
maybe a call to the state DMV...im sure they could let you know the 'limit' on selling vehicles without a licence
