I have two Valentines Day ideas. One involves the girl and I in a private setting where I blindfold and lead her into the theater when it is empty. Hanging from the ceiling would be a sign saying 'Will you be my valentine?'. I will then ask her to slow dance on the stage with the spotlight shining on us. The other is more public in that more people can see us. There's a garden right outside the cafeteria. I would hang the sign right on top of the entrance so that if she goes into the garden and looks back towards the building she will see the sign. Then I will ask her to dance out in the garden.
Which of the two is better? And if these aren't good, what would you suggest?

Getting the theater is not that hard. I do backstage at school and so I can easily get it for 10-15 minutes. She is not my girlfriend but a really close friend. We're pretty open with each other and we trust each other with a lot of secrets. And yes, I will personalize the sign. Thanks to everyone who answered so far.

Every woman wants to be envied, and admired.
I would love for a special someone in my life to show some initive. So sweet to do it in private, it would be your moment, yours and hers alone.
On the other hand, how nice it would be for others to see the devotion.But beware, someone else might use your sign as their own unless you personalize it.

well both are very romantic and I think it is the cuttiest thing a boy could do for us girls but anywayz I think it would be better to do it in private because if it is done in public she wouldn't be able to express her feelings as much as she would if you do do it in public as much as she will if you both are alone and you won't have anyone disturb ya
that's how I would feel since you wanted a girls point of view

If she is shy do it in private so women like the attention and it will be yours to remember but if she is not shy either idea is great and romantic. Go for it either way. Take care Heather

Both are really great ideas, it just depends on whether she is relatively shy or not. If she is then go with the theater, if not the vice versa.

Doing romantic things in private is nice but when you do it in public, it makes us feel very special, at least for me it does.

You could also ask her if its possible .
If you ask her private you could ask her if she wants to go public.
Some girls like the attention some don't,they don't like surprises.
So if you really know her you will choose the right thing.

Is she your girlfriend already? If so, both are good ideas. If she isn't, private is better. That way neither one of you are on the spot of embarassment. Good luck!
