I've tried blocking the number from my mobile but they are still managing to ring.

It may be a spoof number. Probably used by telemarketers.
Call the engineers, and say that the phone number is not working. They'll usually give you the name of the company. You can block them out, report them as a prank call, whatever.

No, sorry. Ring your telephone company and explain that you've been getting silent calls from them, they can block the number. My mum is a BT customer and kept having silent calls from an ex of hers, BT blocked the number and my mum changed her phone number. They also sent the person a warning letter informing them that if they didn't stop they would be reported to the police.

Either contact BT and explain the problem you are having and they may be able to do something or have you tried ringing the number to see who answers your call? You may want to block your number first though (141) cos they may have caller ID and not answer if they know who is ringing.

I have just got a missed call from this number (but I didn't answer as I was working) and googled it. Have you ahd any more luck finding out - there was no answer message.
