I just wanted someone to point me in the right direction. I have fair to bad credit and I just need $2000 to get back in the green. I've tried prosper with no luck, and I don't want any info on cashcall or any other payday loan (even though I know someone is going to send me something like that). I'm not looking for sympathy or an easy way out I just wanna know about any lenders that are willing to give loans to people with bad credit without any money in advance (I'm told that is illegal anyway). If anyone can spare any useful informantion I'd be much obliged.

best chance for small amount like that would be to get it via a credit card.

$2000 is not a lot of money to borrow. You did not say how bad your credit is. I am sure you will find someone who will give you a loan. Do you have any collateral? Like a pink slip on a vehicle? Do you have someone you know with good credit who can co-sign for you?
