Now I'm depressed.

Not necessarily half numerically: a couple of members of the current administration are so far off the charts into drooling idiocy that they may have skewed the numbers... :-)

Well all you need to do is look at the IQ bell curve.

It gives you a good idea of the average intelligence level of people.

Bill Gates IQ is about 165. He is smarter --MUCH smarter than about 98% of people all around him.....though he probably surrounds himself with smart people in his position,
but you get the idea.
If you are very above average intelligence- (say an IQ of 116 to 130),
you are smarter than MOST people you come in contact with,
you don't even have to be a genius to be smarter than most people you ever talk to or are around.

What a great quote.

At least its leaders are intelligent? Or are they?

Someone remind me which president expressed shock and alarm when he was told half of all americans were of below average intelligence.

*I thought Carlin was the guy in Bill and Ted but I had to go look at his pic to remind myself! lol*

For goodness sakes, don't take anything George says seriously or literally.

Does he SOUND like a happy, fulfilled man to you?

Granted he's a ****ing comedic genius. But he's no teacher.
