I see someone already put Vaseline-It is what I used. I also used Cocoa butter, It was recommended by the tattoo artist. For the first week I used Bacitracin with Pain Relief.

I had mine done just under a week ago and i put sudocream on it as it had antiseptic in it i had to bathe it in warm water for 7 days day and night followed by the cream, it has done wonders.
My tattoo is now at the really dry and itchy stage like the skin is peeling and it is doing my head in knowing i cannot scratch it ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! i have put some vasaline on it but has made no diffrence.
I was told by the tattoo artist to buy some bepanthen cream to put on my tattoo after being done but the chemist didnt have any so went with sudocream.
DO NOT USE VASALINE AT FIRST IT IS JUST A OILY JELLY AND WILL NOT HELP FIGHT INFECTION ETC.

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. Fortunately, there are a number of home remedies that are as effective and provides fast relief https://tr.im/EHkbK
The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching. The first thing that people do to cure hemorrhoids is get an OTC medication, without knowing their possible side effects.

OH MAN I AM BAFFLED BY THESE ANSWERS!!!!
First of all, On a fresh tatoo you should use
Aquaphor for at least a week, or until the scabs, and peeling has finished. (use a small amount, a little goes a long way)
Aquaphor can be found in the lotion aisle at any drug store.
After the first week or so, you can use a Non-Alcohol,and Non Fragrance Lotion, Preferably CRUEL Orginal, or Lubriderm
You should never use A&D, NEOSPORIN, or any other antibiotic ointments on a fresh tattoo.

Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the anal canal. They can be itchy, bleeding and/or painful protrusions just under the skin. To get rid of hemorrhoids you can use this natural method that already have thousands of positive reviews https://tr.im/5LKDY
There are two types internal and external. Internal are inside the anal canal in the lower rectum and external are at the anus. They result from increased pressure in the veins often due to straining during bowel movements and during pregnancy. Scratching in an attempt to relieve the itching symptoms further weakens the area and compounds the problem.

I'd go with the first answer. Vaseline.
When I got my tattoo done on my shoulder blade...the tattoo artist told me to use Vaseline to protect the art work as it was healing after the inking.
It was fantastic watching all those colours flake off my back like fish food!!! I miss those days... I am not going to get another tattoo just to go through that fun healing peroid. haha
BUT if it's for general use like going on holiday - I'd suggest suncream and covering up your tattoo to protect its colour but then you may not want to cover up on holiday and show it off to the world like some of my relatives do.

I was always told that vaseline took the colour out and messed the tattoo up.
I used Sudo cream for my tats and that worked really well. Its an anti-septic healing cream that also stops it drying out too much.
They only took about 6-7 days to fully heal when I used this.

When I had my tattoo done I was told to put Preparation H on it, not knowing what it was I strolled up to the counter at Boots and in front of everyone I asked for it - only to find out it was PILE cream!!
But it is good , just be discreet
