You know....the hand gesture made to show quotation marks while speaking. I almost laugh out loud when ever I see them being used and I will mimic using them for myself just to over emphasize them and make fun. What happen to the gesture for a question mark, or a colon?

You can do a Victor Borge and make a sound to go along with the drawing of said symbol in the air

(He had a magnificent routine to go along with that)

Some people enjoy looking like dorks. But, seriously, I guess so many people use that gesture because it's easier than saying "Quote; end quote."

I enjoy making the quotes in the air but only when I am joking around. Let's start our own thing where we make question marks in the air, sometimes it is fun to be annoying. Have Fun!!!

i agree with Kat. it is an assinine gesture. i am onboard for the air punctuation to mock those who do air quotes.
