I can answer your question..it's right up my alley!! I am what you call a : "FRATERNAL TWIN", which is not like identical twins. My brother, Randy, is the oldest...he was born six minutes before I was. I'm a girl and my name is Rene'... Randy & Rene'...cute names for twins, huh? Anyways, we fought a LOT when we were growing up, not to mention the competition! Yet, we were very close! If anyone threatened to hurt my brother, I'd be all over them like a bad case of the flu! And he felt the same way towards me. Yup, we were extremely close. It was really cool to go through life having someone who was the same age as yourself...that way, you didn't have to experience things alone. Also, I ALWAYS had someone there...like I never got bored, cuz I had this built-in playmate. Though we had some pretty strong competition amongst ourselves, it only made me strive to be better...something which drove me to become a better person than I otherwise would've become had I been an only child. Of that I am completely convinced! Going through puberty wasn't as bad when you had someone going through it all with you. We remain close today even though we don't live in the same state. We can easily read each-other's minds, complete each-other's sentences and feel each-other's feelings. Being a twin is a great experience...and I, for one am living proof!

You have your own language, that only the two of you understand. You normally get along just fine, but sometimes when your sister has what you want, you have to fight her for it, even pulling hair and hitting is necessary. You can fool people into thinking you are your own sister, and vice versa.
