My girlfriend called me up the other day and said " I wanted to talk to you about this party coming up" then she continued to say " i wanna be able to dance with my other guy friends and have a good time" it made me feel like she doesn't have a good time with me. then she goes " it's not that i dont have fun with you it's just that i wanna have fun with my other friends to" well i actually sat back and thought about it . I Pictured her grinding up with another guy and i told her " it won't feel right if i see you grinding with another guy" and she continued to say "there wont be grinding if i'm dancing with my back to a guy there will be space" to me i feel thats still grinding.i wouldn't mind so much if they were face to face. should i be jealous/upset/mad that she wants to dance with other guys at parties even if its not grinding to her? Help me out please

I'd be mad too. If my girlfriend wanted to go and grind on other guys in front of me then I wouldn't go at all. I couldn't sit back and see her on another guy. If she wants to be with them instead of you then she can go with them to the party.

I would go along with it and see how it goes. You will know if she is truly grinding it up or just dancing. That kind of dancing is popular now with young people but keeping her distance will be the way to say I am taken and if she really loves you she will not WANT to get that close so watch what happens. It might be a good way to see if she really cares about you or not. It is possible she just wants to be social and have fun. It does not mean she doesnt want to be all yours.

Not really. If these are just her friends, I see nothing to worry about. However she may feel just a friendship connection with these guys, but they may feel differently. Its a hard call. i think if she respects your relationship, she should be sensitive to your feelings on this mattter. See what happens at the party, if it looks like she is being inappropriate with these so called friends, listen to your instincts. She may not be ready to be in a committed relationship with you. Would she tolerate you dancing close or grinding with other girls, that were "Just Friends"? I don't think so. It would definately make her insecure with your committment to her. Don't make a big deal, just go and have a good time. She how she behaves.

Ok first off why does she have to ask or tell you who she is gonna dance with ? It is fine for you to be jealous but dont act out on it. She is a human being and should be able to talk, hang out with or dance with whom she wants. The key to this is the dancing........ If she loves you she will dance appropriate. I dance with my daughters and trust me there is no grinding. If you love her trust her give her the room all people deserve and I'm sure she will see how much more of a man this makes you.

well being jealous in that situation is just a natural feeling that would come in certain situations like this. however, don't let the jealousy control your relationship. allow her to have her freedom...otherwise, she may just leave you in fear of being controlled further down the road in the relationship. you just have to set boundaries and make sure that she knows what would hurt you and what you're okay with. that way if she does start the grindin, she can't say that you never told her that it would make you uncomfortable. let her know that you trust her completely and that you want her to have fun with her friends... the more confidence that you show in her and your relationship, the more that she'll stay away from the thought of even touching another man while dancing. i guarantee it! :) best wishes.
