You'd be surprised at how easily hair regrows after an injury. Like the previous answer said, be patient. Try not to worry too much about the regrowth as stress hinders your body's ability to heal quickly.

This happened to my brother at age 16. His hair was very long and straight. Had it caught in a machine at work. It grew back but came it curly. I think it took about a month for it to grow an inch. He is now 43 and he has a full head of hair. Dont worry it will grow back but will take some time. I suggest the you cut the rest of your hair short so it is pretty close to the scalp. that way until it grows it wont look funny.

It should grow out but how in the heck did you get your hair caught in a drill???????????
