My Grandfather Thomas S Moss was born in 1850 North Carolina, I need information about his mother and father and My Grandmother Finley J Meadows was Born in 1851 Virginia I need information about her parents and when they was married.

have you tried ancestry.com? it costs but they have acsess to more records. also try churches for baptismal records. the mormons have a terrific site. also the s.s.death index and cindi's list of geneology sites. one other thing that i can think of is message boards. type in -last name message boards. you may find something. my sis used these sites and was able to go back to the 1400's in some cases. it took more than 20 yrs but its amazing to find where you came from. best of luck to you. this is quite an undertaking but well worth it.

ok use and look at cousinconnect.com and use the state they were from. you can do all sorts of things even ask your famly members unless they are dead some may know its fun i have been doing this for years. another thing if you are near some of the graves take a big piece of paper and shade it with pencil and do the whole grave marker. also just look at findagrave.com its neat you can call up grave yard and input people so they are on line.
