First of all wash your hands frequently, I mean all the time, especially before you eat.

Also take extra vitamin C during cold and flu season (Halls make cough-drop-like things you can take that has 100% of your Daily Vitamin C intake in it. Take severl per day and you'll get extra Vitamin C intake and you'll do well).

Drink orange/apple/etc juice instead of sodas.

Also take a multivitamin daily.

Many do this year long and get maybe one cold a year.

vitamin c and zinc work almost instantly. You can take up to 1000% of C without any side effects and maybe 300% of zinc DV. Some herbal medicines have proven to boost immune system such as echinacea and goldenseal, but they need to be taken for a few weeks before they start working. Healthy diet, sufficient sleep, avoiding stress, exercise are other things you can do. Don't forget multivitamins either!

Echinechea and vitamin c are 2 good ones for fighting infection. You can buy both of these OTC, also it doesn't hurt to drink a glass of OJ daily. It has vitamin c in it and tastes good at the same time. They also make a losenge called Halls Defense, they don't taste bad and they help boost immunity as well.

The ultimate immunity system builder and strengthener is newly discovered NutriFeron which enhances the production of the body's natural interferon. It's a clinically proven blend of immune-strengthening plant extracts.

Dr. Kojima, the immunologist who discovered interferon in 1954, spent 40 years searching for a natural interferon booster - the result was NutriFeron. Contains a proprietary blend of natural plant extracts from pumpkin seeds, safflower flowers, plantago seeds, and Japanese honeysuckle flower buds which have been clinically proven to support and stimulate the natural immune response process at the cellular level and has no side effects.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or if interested in the website.

I'm taking a natural supplement that has helped my immune system over the past 5 months. I bought it from gold health products its called balanc. I know that balancing your immunity is the most effective way to keep your immune system strong. I read that if your immune system is to strong this can cause health problems just as much as a low immune system.
