They usually wait until the puppy in 8 weeks and they will give you the history from their computer or the have little pamphlets most of the time that they fill out and it says what they have had done and what they still need done. Puppies get 3 sets of shots. they get them at 8 12 and 16 weeks all 4 weeks apart> your puppy won't get it's rabies until it's 16 weeks round of shots and it will mosst likely only be a 1 year vaccine and not a 3 year( their frist rabies is usuallya one year not a 3 year

When your puppy gets his shots - on the last set you will be given a Rabies tag. You can ask for the pet's records showing if he had a deworming, and the DHLPP (the series of distemper). Also the receipt should show everything your pet has received for your records.
If there is an incident - someone is bit or the animals is picked up, etc they will call the vet and talk to the veterinarian for the records.

Just a receipt. There is no certificate for DDHLP shots because the law does not require you to get those vaccinations. Those shots are for the health and welfare of your pet. But when your pup is old enough to receive his rabies vaccination, you will get a tag and it will be registered. RABIES VACCINATIONS ARE THE LAW

Your dog will have a health certificate, a booklet, where the vet writes down what vaccines he's done, what date and he signs. At least that is what happens in Europe! Plus a tag hanging from his collar.

Well usually you will get a receipt for recaived vaccinations, if you happened to have his rabies vaccination done at the same time you will receive a little colored medallion that is to be placed on his color that shows he has been vaccinated for rabies.

A signed immunization record and examination chart stating that your puppy has been wormed and vaccinated and thoroughly examined .Maybe even the label off the vial of medication.

It depends on your vet, but many will give a vaccination record card, just as you have for children. All will give at least a reciept that list what they gave.

You will get a receipt and you can ask for copies of the records. He wil also give you a rabies certificate and a tag.

Ask your vet for a photocopy of the puppy's vaccinations, for your files.
