If you are looking for somewhere pretty quiet but still with a good selection of bars etc...then I'd recommend turgutreis.....I've been there three time: twice in august and once in october and absolutely loved it every time!

Reps come round and offer you various excursions to all over turkey or you can go to one of the town travel shops. The beaches are lovely there and not too busy....and the saturday market is amazing....excellent shopping!

Have fun

Icmeler is a very nice small resort ,Very romantic and a lovely quiet beach. I stopped in Marmaris (the next resort along) which is also vey nice - but a lot more lively -
You can pop over to Marmaris for some romantic moonlit boat tours.(it's about 50 pence on the bus, that runs every 10 mins)

Bodrum is good if you dont like long airport transfer times. There are numerous small resorts in the vicinity to visit.Public transport is cheap and plentiful. If you want noise and nightlife try Gumbert near Bodrum.Qiuet and restful but with bars and restaurants Bitez,Turgutreis all in brochures and close by.Istanbul is great for few day city break but very crowded and bsy for two week holiday

Take a ferry from Istanbul to the Princess Islands as wonderful daytrip. They have really amazing seafood restaurants at reasonable prices and the whole Island is really fun and reasonable to mountain bike.

Istanbul is undoubtedly the jewel of the Marmara Region, but don’t miss the Ottoman cities of Edirne and Bursa.

I'd say Icmeler, its lovely and great for couples, me and my boyf have been there twice (i'm 22 he's 24) and if you want something a bit more lively then theres a short bus ride to Marmaris.

I went to Dalyan last year and enjoyed it. Real people, great food small resort, great culture etc. Not like the 'package holiday' Turkey of the main resorts.
