My friend met this guy dated him then relised they wouldn't work so we started talking and now we like each i wanna move further but my friend is acting really weird today what do i do?

what i suggest is to ask your friend honest opinion about u dating the guy. ask her wether its ok or not. maybe she knows something about the guy...
if she's ok with it go for it mate..

keep it smooth and don't rush it. i don't like a man who rushes into a relationship head first and many other women don't either. take it at a slow easy pace and talk more with her.
