As an asthmatic, I can confidently tell you that all incense will cause breathing problems.
Incense creates smoke. Smoke irritates the lungs of those with asthma & allergies.
At my own grandmother's funeral I had to leave the service and stand outside because the smoke was making me choke, cough & wheeze. It upset me so much and made me wonder why churches need to even have incense.

I don't really think there is such a thing as an allergen-free incense. And some of the writers on a couple of my gardening forum lists have shown me some lovely recipes for them.

I just found out that burning incense is carcinogenic.
