I am absent ALOT more than 10 I think im not sure,but most of them are excused.Also I get straight A's in all my classes I have a 4.0 GPA,will I flunk 8th grade?Its because im always sick and I have some other personal problems.

it depends on the nature of the problems. My senior year of high school i was absent 108 days out of the year due to health problems, but i graduated with honors. As long as you get your homework done and your school understands the issues at hand i don't believe you will flunk. Talk to your school about it. Guidance counselors or your schools truant officers should be able to give you the best advice

They could flunk you, but if you communicate with your school leaders and let them know you really do care that can change a lot. Speak with each of your teachers and your school counselor. Some teachers will be understanding of health problems some will not. See if you can test out of classes. If the counselor doesn't help you then go to your principal. Do not loose your temper, act like an adult and if your problems are legitimate then generally your school leaders will listen to you and try to help you. Most people in the schools really do want to help, but you have to come part of the way. I hope you are letting your parents get involved and try to help you find solutions.

Check with your school's attendance policy. If you have a chronic illness, then you have options not available to other students. Be sure all absences are excused. If they will work with you, you will not fail.
