Someone just gave me Scotch, Brandy, Whiskey, Gin, some Tia Maria and a few other items that they have had for probably 20 to 25 yrears. I don't really drink so I don't know if these items go bad. I wouldn't know the difference in taste that is for sure.

Thanks for any help.

The Scotch, Brand, etc should still be ok. Tia Maria and other sugary sweet drinks will go bad.

Hard Liquor doesn't, some say it can bring out more of the flavor by sitting in the bottle and aging . Anything that is sweet and contains more sugar like Liqueurs can go bad.

Distilled spirits do not expire if sealed, nor does it "age" if kept in a glass closed container.... If there has been evaporation then it may not be very good anymore.
