i'm 24 and have never like coffee but recently discovered i'll drink it with a lot of milk and sweetener in it because it wakes me up in the morning, this may sound silly but how do i order this at like star bucks or dunkin donuts?

Anytime you order regular coffee just say that you want room for lots of cream and sugar, other wise they might fill it too full.

Also, I would highly recommend the White chocolate Mocha at Starbucks. It is just like a latte but with White Chocolate syrup. It will be light and sweet and should fit your tastes.

Star Bucks - you just ask for room for milk and sweetener - the ones I've been to simply add a bit less coffee - and you can add cream or milk as you see fit from the thermoses... and can add sugar or whatever sweetener...

Don't know about Dunkin Donuts is probably the same...

Or you can always go to the old way of ordering (I'm old...) order with cream and double or triple sugar...

Generally just ask for milk or cream and sugar... they'll guide you to the cream and sugar...

Oh - I do love my coffee... caffeine... yummy...

Ask for a coffee with cream and sugar at regular places like Dunkin Donuts, Denny's, Bob Evans. They will give you the coffee black and then you have to add the cream and sugar yourself to your own liking, they don't do it for you because everyone likes it different ways. As far as Starbucks goes, I never go there because it's too expensive, but I'm pretty sure it's the same way. I'm sure there are Starbucks experts on here!

Starbucks = Cafe au lait (cafe oh lay)...half coffee/ half steamed milk...then ask for your choice of flavored syrup or sugar packets.
Dunkin donuts= askthem to fill it half coffee and then ask for lots of (like 10) creamers.
Honestly, you oughta invest in a coffee maker. The kind that you press the cup against are great. In the latin culture this IS how they drink their coffe. Cafe con leche...its mostly milk and the sugar is actually good because you'll burn it all by lunch time. Best to have sugar in the morning.

P.S. I'm a barista (cafe chick)

They usually have the sugars out so you can sweeten it to your taste.
I bet you'd like the frappichino's....they are wonderful.
Also, for coffee at home or work try the coffeemate creamers. Vanilla carmel is wonderful. Only reason I'm drinking coffee right now.

Just order regular coffee and you can put as much sweetner in it that you like and cream or milk as well. It will also be a lot cheaper than ordering Latte's or Cappacino's.

I think you will enjoy a cafe latte. It's a shot of espresso with steamed or heated milk. This is the kind of coffee I make at home.

The other answers above are generally correct - "regular coffee", or "one coffee, cream and sugar".

Sometimes they will ask you if you want room left in the cup for cream. Tell them you would like them to leave room for lots of cream.
