Results from 5 pound weights?

I just bought two 5 pound weights to use. How long will it take before i will see any results?

It is the arm/hand weights.

what type of exercises are you doing with the weights? i would suggest also buying a heavier set of weights as well, because for different exercises (for example, legs vs. arms) you will need heavier weight. add additional details to your question as it will be easier to give you a better answer! :)
