My husband has been asking me to give him a pedicure. His feet are severely calloused and cracked from years of steel toe boots and hard work. I know they will need multiple treatments to get them back from caveman to homosapien. Does anyone know a regimen I could follow or products that help dry cracked feet? His feet are in serious need of pampering!

Get really hot water disolve some salt beads, and let his feet soak, then remove all the dead skin (callouse) from his feet with a sand paper type of foot paddel, then use a perrppment type of lotion. Do this one a week, until they are better.

From all the years of hard work in those steel toed boots he needs a little pampering so treat him to a day at the spa where he can get a professional massage, hot tub manicure, pedicure the whole 9n yards then a nice quiet dinner with just the 2 of you maybe some after dinner at home dessert oh wait a minute that's what i want "hey honey whats say you and me go to the spa" sorry had to run that idea by my fiance , didn't mean to get side tracked but seriously give it a try hell he might even go for it you never know until you try good luck.

Bath & Body Works has some great products for the feet. I understand, my husband wears steel toe boots and he used to have nicer feet. That was about 7 years ago! But they have products like Heel of approval to help with dry cracked heels and Toe the line a smoothing foot scrub. Check out their website. I posted a link for you. Hope this helps! Good luck!

If he is the one asking for it, that means he would be willing to go to a salon for one. Go to your local beauty school(school of cosmetology) The girls/guys there are going to school for this and always need clients. They charge practically nothing for their services, and it usually isn't busy in these places. The workers spend a long time sloughing off the dead skin and massaging your feet. It's everything you'd expect from a spa and even more-because they are getting graded while they perform services on you by their instuctor(s). Get it, they really go out of their way because it's their grade! Look into it, then you won't have to do the deed, and you could get one too!

I recommend that you take your hubby to a spa. Let them deal with it. I'm not saying that you cant but they have the right stuff and at the same time you and him can relax. just make sure that every time he takes a shower after he comes out he uses a creme for his feet. I recommend "Foot Works," by Avon. Its a therapeutic creme for feet that reliefs cracked heels and helps maintain the feet nice and soft!! Please take this truly serious. Feet are really sensitive and and infection can be lead if no attention is giving. Cheers!! :)

You need to make sure you use the right products, and it will take a while. You will have to give them daily. Soak them longer to soften the caluses and cracked skin, Use a pumice stone, or a loufa sponge to remove excess, skin. Use mint sloughing lotion, it's great! Also try using a moisturizing cream on the rough spots. Mary Kay has a night cream that is great for rough areas. Also after you put the moisturizer on have him put on cotton socks to keep the moisture in.

first, when his feet are clean, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften the skin. then use a good pumice stone on all the rough and calloused areas, and around all his toenails where dry skin likes to accumulate. then trim and file his nails. next, cover his feet with a really thick creamy lotion, like Eucerin (i put that on my boyfriends feet). then make him wear thick socks to keep the lotion there, and help it soak in. after you've done this a few times (say 2-3 times a week if he needs it) his feet should be pretty enough to wear YOUR sandals!! lol.

Ok............take him with you to a nail salon....YOU BOTH get pedicures, that way, he won't feel so self conscious, and it's time together. Then, after the pedicure, buy Palmer's Cocoa butter lotion. It is so soft! If HE WILL.......... have him rub it on his feet at night and put socks on........IF HE WILL! it will at least keep his feet smooth and moisturized. A guy getting funky feet taken care of, is A GOOD THING!!!!

just how would your hubby feel about having it done by a professional.................if the LAST place on earth you could drag him is to a salon how about calling some of those mobile places and have them come to your home...........I did this for my hubby, he had very little notice about this I might add, but he totally enjoyed it, he was always in Navy boots and it took its toll, but now he rather likes that little bit of pampering and he gets to watch his TV and have a beer at the same time...........then you can watch her and do the things that you know you can do....

regards
