I have no idea of what you are talking about "competitive examination". Do you mean tutoring to help with graduation exams? In many places, it is the score on the graduation exams that lead to graduation, right? Rather than just a piece of paper saying you went to school?
Actually, in the US there are several school districts who are considering dropping the age of compulsory attendance to 16, as many teenagers are capable of fulfilling all requirements by then and gaining admission into colleges of their choice. Instead, they are forced to pace their education to a certain number of credits per semester, in an attempt to stay in school past the age of compulsory attendance.
If a child can finish early and move on to college, more power to them. I just read an article saying that if Oregon dropped the ability to graduate to age 16, they would save several billion dollars a year on educational services.

Its a student's chioce what he wants to do what his aspirations are! After tenth a student is smart enough to understand what to do then why to compel him to study tenth by makin it compulsory?
Now with the increasing competion it has become more difficult to get in any top college
. so some students dont mind missing classes in order to prepare for the competitions and by the way these students complete their tenth portion before they even start their eleventh only.
some think it is enough to get 70 per cent marks and continue to take leave and prepare for comp
as far as they prepare sincerely nothing is wrong

You must have heard - survival of the fittest. What does it all mean ? It's not simply a question of physical fitness.
It's a question of your overall fitness and readiness to take charge of your responsibilities as you grow up - not to lookout for handouts from your parents past twenties and looking for handouts from your in-laws thereafter.
What will you do with an education that's limited to tenth grade or around that level ? What would the matchmaker say ? How would you present yourself as a future prospect for a marriage - that demands, safety, security and financial stability from you - not from your parents or in-laws ?

If you are talking about the US then you are giving out lethal advice. Its hard to imagine that anyone would propose stopping school in the 10th grade to go off an learn what you like, but there it is on the message boards. I cannot imagine this is good advice and certainly not in the US where the diploma is the lowest standard in the job market.

No not necessary. Student must learn on their own and whatever they are interested in. So that they can learn that thing with more interest rather than threatening them to study. Let them Explore themselves and do great things in their own way.
