Meaning what do you do for a living? To men that seams like we are being screened and sized up by how much we make. Instead of a women showing interest in who we are and our character.

First, not all ladies ask that question. If you are a lady, that should be the last thing on your mind. You don't even know this person and I think that is a rather personal question. I would think you would want to know more about what is on the inside of this person.What are your interests? What do you like to do for entertainment? Think about what your likes and dislikes are and ask questions pertaining to your tastes. See if you are compatible. I do feel if someone firsts wants to know what you do for a living, how much money you have coming in, they may just be on the money track... Sure it is also interesting to know what type of work a person does, but don't make that a high priority. There are a lot of good people in this world that don't make a big amount of money in thier lives. Money doesn't buy happiness. Take a look around. If thats all they want, is someone who is making big money........ MOVE ON! They may just be a leach.

They wanna see if u are a looser or not. Most important thing for women is to know that they will be provided for in a good way, once they are at home with little babies.
But you can always tell them something more positive then what you really are.
If you are a janitor, tell them you are a student, you study law or business.
Once i hooked up with a girl who is a lawyer, i told her i study business, on our first real date we went to the beach, i borrowed some notes from a friend, and pretended to study for an exam, she liked me, we went to swim, by the time we got back, all the papers had blown away all over the beach. But by that time i had her!

Well with some women i think that's just general conversations but for some i would say that the JOB that they do holds a big interest to them.

Try and develop a personality and they will be more interested in you than what you do.

maximum definately! I used to have self belief that replaced into part of the guy's activity yet i began out questioning, "why wait if i like somebody?" the 1st guy I asked out I have been given rejected yet everytime previous that it has worked! i think of adult adult males now-a-days type of like a woman who can take fee and make formidable strikes on her own. yet there is often an exceptional line between assertive and psychotic.

Women like to know that their potential boyfriends are successful. Its always nice when guys have brains, have a good career, and are independent and can look after themselves.
Its comforting to know that if the relationship is "forever", that the male can support us.
Its that simple.
