i am going on holiday with my boyfriend to grenada and i was wondering how much in pounds for both of us would be suffient to live on. i.e. eating out three times a day and so on.
is it a relatively moderate place in terms of taxi's and whatabout clubs, bars and restaurants?

it's no more expensive than Seville, probably less...

and Southern Spain is cheaper than most of Europe too.

It all depends on where you eat and what you eat, if you eat what the locals eat, it can be €20 to €30 euros a day (so around £16 to £24).

It's certainly not going to be as expensive as a city like Paris, Madrid, or anywhere in the UK...

Make sure you book tickets online or by 'phone for the Alhambra Palace in advance to avoid 4 or 5 hours of queuing (and this is the one place you don't want to miss in Granada!).

I'd also suggest a side-trip to Cordoba if you can so you can see the Mezquitta.
