Your question sounds "loaded".
First off, all humans have rights as defined by the Constitution of the United States of America.
These are obvious and very little discussion is needed to define them.
However, if you mean that we all have the right to act in inappropriate behaviors and indulge ourselves with the thought that our indulgences trump all other thoughts and reactions, then I'd have to say I disagree.
We have elevated ourselves to a god status and then comlain that there is no God. All the while we do as we wish then point the finger at God because we claim He does as He wishes.
It's all a big double standard and only shows how selfish and wicked we are.

It would be nice to teach ethics. In the majority of Relgious education lessons in the UK this is in fact what is taught.

I have always said that they should have an ethics and morals class ... for sure
what use is anything if kids arent taught to understand and respect each other
