I get hayfever... the best thing to do is stop drinking milk and really cut down on all dairy products. worked wonders for me.
I used to die every summer, and now I'm a new person.

I suffer from hayfever too, but unlike you i have not recently had a problem, until my mum got lilies!!! I find the best way to quickly get rid of the symptons is to ask your GP, he will prescribe the best medicine, tablet etc. for you. But to save the hassle of going to the GP i find that ASDA do very cheap tablets called allergy relief, or something along those lines treat it effectively and fast, all you need to do when you feel hayfever has come take a tablet and within 15 minutes you feel much better!! I hope my advice is helpful.

I take medication year round. Rather than taking antihistamines you might try using nasal sprays like Flonase or NasalCrom. You could also irrigate your nose with a mixture of salt water (1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 cup water)

Yes I know how you feel there are some years where I'm taking my antihistamines all year around. Then other years it seem to start earlier than normal I blame global warming the seasons are getting milder.

It may be an allergy to some thing else, you can become allergic to any thing at any time, i tried herbal remedies last summer as the normal piriton ect was making me drowsy!
Think you can have an allergy test for about £40.

i have rhinitis and find that medication from GP will help but also avoiding milk??
avoid using hairspray (pollen sticks to your hair) and ensure house is dust free.
I know - it's awful!!! i get attacks where i sneeze 20 times in a row!!
:-)

as a hayfever sufferer who does suffer all year round, you wont be popping pills all year as your body will adapt and the alergens will be milder and you wont need pills to control it! but i highly recommend benadryl one a day tablets they are in an orange topped box and highly effective!

Try a nasal spray that should keep the symptoms at bay.
