How is having too much in common "the same sign". That is confusing!!
As for having things in common, it is good to have at least a few things if not more in common. It gives you something to talk about. Man, I would love a girl that shared all my goals in life!!

Hmm...I wouldn't think so.
I am currently seeing someone of the same zodiac, and have done that once before in my life.
While you'll find the semblances uncanny, you will find that there will be some stark contrasts as you get to know her better.
Don't let the "same sign" cute thing become a heavy presence in the relationship because you both may begin judging each other by characteristics indicative of the zodiac.
Its cute to compare in the beginning....just don't use it as litmus test in your budding relationship.

signs are signs you know? as for similarities in common interests that's a start of a good relationship.
my bf and i have alot in common.
2 failed past engagements.
don't get along with our parents.
want to move out of state within a year or two.
want to live life to the fullest.
fear nothing.
had trust issues til we met.
ect so forth and so on

Yes it is, however, if you get along then that is beautiful. My boyfriend reminds me of a male version of myself sometimes, but I love me so it's not a big deal! Yes we argue, yes we bump heads, but when we do get along it's beatuiful. We were made for eachother.. the more you have in common, the better you can relate and understand eachother....and let's face it THAT is what is important! Opposites may attract, but what you can share is what will keep you together.

Yes, I think it possible to have too much in common. As time goes on, you'll probably get bored to tears with each other, because you're so much alike.

No, just be happy you met someone like that. If you have as much on common as you think, you'll probably have a long and happy relationship.
