This seems to affect me in all areas of life. I work out, but am not satisfied with the results. I make a good living, but never quite have enough money. I'm married to a wonderful woman, but I want so much more sexually. When I work on a project, I'm never quite happy with the results. I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks! Ben

Its sounds as though the real problem is that your not satisfied with you. Take some time for yourself and to build your self esteem. Remind yourself every day that you are entitled to be happy. If necessary, seek counseling. It could be early stages of depression. I hope things work out for you.

sounds like you are not truely happy within yourself, and until you are nothing around you will ever make you happy!

if you are constantly thinking the grass is greener elsewhere you are wrong, the grass is green no matter where you are, as long as you make it that way... only you can make yourself happy, no one andnothing else!!

take some time out to yourself, be quiet and relaxed and think about why you feel this way, did something happen in your past, maybe a parent or someone always made you feel like you could do better, like you were never good enough?

forgive your past and enjoy everyday, enjoy the time you spend in the gym and with your family insted of being critical of everything, once you do and start to appreciate what you DO have instead of what you DONT have maybe then you will feel more relaxed and happy within yourself

You are probably a perfectionist with everything, so it is hard for you to be completely happy. Or, you could be depressed. Go online to a reputable website, and look at a depression checklist.
It sounds like to me you need to think about why you feel that way. As a child, could you never do anything right for your parents? Were you constantly put down by someone? Or, maybe you need an activity that is more thrill-seeking in nature, like skydiving to put a little excitement in your life.

Take a step back and look at what you have in front of you. If you realize that you are a very lucky man then you should be able to feel satisfied with what you have. The wife thing... maybe just tell her how you feel. Ask her if you can compromise.

it sounds like you are too hard on yourself, and may if you did some self exploring you would find out what it is that is making you unhappy, something is causing this feeling that you are not good enough. Not trying to be smart but consult your doctor maybe you are going through some type of depression.

I hate to say this but it might take a disaster for you to be grateful for what you do have as opposed to what you may be lacking .. You need to learn how to appreciate the blessings you have instead of trying to feel satisfied. Satisfaction is fleeting and compulsory

You are your worst critic. I think you are a bit to hard on yourself. You are human like the rest of us, just relax, don't sweat the small stuff, and there is lots you can do about your sex life, talk to your wife about it. Just take it easy on yourself, your not superman!
