First of all you need to get rid of the pillow.
I don't think anything is going to get he smell out and if he can smell the odor on the pillow he's going to keep going back to it.

Have you moved the litter box, changed the litter, bought a new litter box?
Or has there been any change at all in your living conditions.
Have you moved, gotten a new roomate, added a new pet, been on vacation and boarded the cat?

All of those things can lead a cat to have litter box issues...cats don't like change.

But, if none of those things apply please take your cat to the Vet for a check-up.
Any change in a cats litter box habits that can't be explained by the things mentioned above could be a medical problem.

Cats are very good at hiding their illnesses from us.
In the wild, cats can not show the fact that they are sick...if they do they will soon become the prey instead of the preditor.
That instinct is still in our house cats.
In fact a sick or even a dying cat will still purr...in part to hide the fact that it's sick and in part to comfort itself.

Please take kitty to the Vet to rule out any health problems.

Good luck

First things first, you have to remove the smell from that pillow COMPLETELY! Otherwise the cat will still smell it and think it's okay to poop there. The next thing you can do is buy one of those sprays from the pet department of any store just about that is specifically to keep pets away, like PetOff or something. You can spray that on ur pillow, but you might want to test it on something first, because I hear some of them are pretty smelly. The cat will be offended by the smell and will refuse to get even remotely close to that pillow!

I put some helpful links down below! Hope I've been of some help!

Perhaps he doesn't like his litter? Have you recently changed his litter to a different type? Or is the pan in a location that is high traffic? Wash your pillow well with bleach to remove the trace smells and show your cat where his pan is-repeatedly.

You may also try disallowing him access to your bedroom or place him and his pan in a closed location while you are not home or able to monitor his activity.
