Hi friends,
I have blue eyes that seemed reasonably average. But I have noticed some people have very bright blue eyes.
I realise some of this is genetic. But I have recently improved my diet, etc and they have got a little brighter.
Apart from the usual advice of eat healthier, sleep more, etc. What in particular does make the eyes brighter naturally? Is it certain vitamins, certain foods, etc?
I would love to get very healthy and bright blue eyes.
Lee.

It can't be just hereditary. As I said in my post. They have definitely brightened somewhat over the last few weeks. I have never noticed anything before.

The shade of eye color is predetermined by heredity, so there is absolutely NOTHING you can due to darken, or lighten its hue.

Sleep well with a window open, clean your face and wash after in cold water, use witch hazel for your eyes on cotton pads and leave over closed eyes for a few mins,, a touch of blue eye shadow or wear something blue will enhance the eye colour.Never wear black eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes they will close the eye up and take away the effect of blue eyes, you can wear blue eye liner and just a touch smudged.
What you are born with your stuck with unless you buy colored contacts .

You should definitely do a dark, smokey eye look. I think that looks SO pretty with bright blue eyes - especially if the person has dark hair! Very beautiful! You could also wear silver or grey eyeshadow. I would COMPLETELY stay away from blue eye shadows since they would only cause your eyes to look like two puddles lol.

Hi Lee,
I think if you wanna have real bright blue eyes, just keep on with a very healthy diet and also, you can meditate and imagine that your eyes are getting brighter. Picture them in your mind abd keep adding brightness to them .This way, you let your body know that you want it, and all you have to do is let your body do its magic. You have to really believe that it will work :-)

I also have blue eyes, but mine are really vivid.
They seem to change depending on what I wear and my mood. If I wear a bright blue, it actualy complements them, and they seem brighter. If I were green, they look green.
But when I get the most compliments on my bright blue eyes is when I'm happy. One of my friends says that they 'Pop' when I'm in a good mood.
Eat carrots! My mom used to tell me that...

I use make-up to enhance my blue eyes. For a man, I guess your only option is to wear those tinted contacts.
