Well, you know that is not going to happen. i do not think that he would stop sending troops over if he were in. i believe that President Bush knows what he is doing and he is getting an awful lot of flak about it. He has information about the military that we don't know...he sees things that we don't see. The media has a way of changing our perception of things and that can be very dangerous. i mostly ignore what i see on the television because i know that most of it is made to be dramatic. Bush would not knowingly put our countrymen in danger without having a good reason for it. i do support Bush and his decisions. i do know many military men who have come back to this country from Iraq. Every single one of them also supports Bush, knows why the troops are in Iraq, and can't believe that we think the way we do in this country. It is because we are getting VERY inaccurate info from the media! Please don't believe EVERYTHING that you see or hear in the media!

The problem with people today is they've been "dumbed down" by politicians seeking favoritism by the voters telling the voters what they think the voter wants to hear.
The United States suffered more casualties in less than one hour when the attack against the Twin Towers took the lives of over 2,900 citizens of this Nation.
Since 9/11, hundreds of lives have been lost to terrorists that could care less about you, me, or anything else other than taking the lives of those they oppose.
With our troops in Iraq, we've kept terrorist activities in the USA to a minimum without another 9/11. Additionally, fewer lives have been lost with our troops in Iraq over the past YEARS than were lost in NYC in less than one hour.
We've forgotton about the tragic loss of life in the US. I can't help but think of all those fallen breathren who would, in my opinion, roll over in their graves should we just stop our efforts to bring terrorism to a halt for the benefit of the entire world!

He is sixty something years old, there isn't anyone his age fighting. Why should he be different? And no he would not stop sending troops over there. Most people who go over there agree with the reason they are going. Isn't that enough?
It isn't Bush's job to go over there and fight. Not to mention he doesn't have the training for such a thing.

No no no no no no no no NO! A president has NEVER fought in any wars while he was president. It simply would NOT be allowed.
President Bush goes to Iraq all the time. I know soldiers who met him when he was there.
I don't care WHAT those protesters (featuring Hanoi Jane) have to say. What I care about is what the soldiers have to say. Most of those who have been to Iraq believe in what we're doing. I listen to them, and ignore everyone else.

No. It is not allowed. He f'd up big time with this. He lied to the country and continues to do so to the troops. Maybe friendly fire...
