For this question, we will presume god exists, the bible is god's literal word, and it is accurate. What does this mean?

KJV

1 cor 6:9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Does that mean drunkards can't go to heaven, or that they can since some were washed and sanctified? If so, can the effeminate and "abusers of themselves with mankind" also go to heaven following the same procedure?

Surely Noah was a drunkard according to scripture? Does that mean he's in hell?

No! and i say that because no one will go to heaven. I don't believe there is such a place.
But if you want to think there is an imaginary place you help yourself.
I know you're going to report me. The person who is a drunk can't help themselves. They are committing slow suicide. Now why would someone do that? They have an illness . If they try they can quit. One day at a time. I am a drunkard. I have been sober for two or three days. I was once sober for 6 years. This disease don't play around.

narrow lady, the Christian who reported that to you became in my opinion to judgmental. Drunkards are basically component of the human race. probable the place this Christian got here to this end is a drunkard places the drink earlier God. In different words his/her god is the god of alcohol. what's a drunkard? I evaluate myself a christian that would not mandatory advise Christian's are forbidden to drink, Now some denominations could argue that factor others does no longer. get returned to the factor If I even have one beer to many this night and tension off the line and get myself killed would not mandatory advise the dominion of heaven is closed to me. God will choose me no one else however the God of compassion, love and mercy. no one no longer you nor any Christian or whoever will choose me. i think a lot of people would be shocked basically who inherits the dominion of heaven. i wish this answer has been effective to you narrow lady.

1 Cor. 6:0, 10 gives a list of those who will not inherit the kingdom. Drunkards are on that list. But just as Paul said in verse 11: "That is what some of you WERE." They had changed; they were no longer drunkards.

"Unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven."
If we are living for Christ and we turn from the things that control us then we will go to heaven. We are judged individually, by our hearts and motives. The Bible also says that when we stand before judgement, all our sins will be seen by everyone.

For this answer I will not presume that God exists as I know full well that He does,all these sinful acts if continued for a persons whole lifetime and there is no sincere repentance for them then yes that person has doomed themselves to Hell, however no one will be lost who turns from these sins and repents with a humble heart.

if you have the Lord Jesus and accept him heaven is yours friend.

If they are washed and sanctified and live a pious life in accordance to Acts 2:38 (among others), they're granted eternal life as well.

Well lets "presume" it's true.
Who do you think conjured up all the extra wine for the wedding at Canna. (Some say Christ's own wedding to Mary M.) Now getting oneself killed is serious abuse I would say so if your behaviour leads to stoning or Crucifixion can you then claim to "go to heaven."

I think a good self flagellation might be in order, it might clear the senses and stop the mental and moral constipation.

That's where the POWER of God comes in. A person is unable to save himself or to come out of sin. Christianity is the only religion that offers supernatural power for a leopard to change its spots. Don't have faith in your ability to stop drinking, (assuming that's your problem) or stop any kind of sin. Jesus saves and cleanses us, not we ourselves.

God has nothing against drink.

If he did he wouldnt have turned water to wine at cana.
Some of the finest down to earth paople i know have drink problems.
Drink doesnt affect peoples salt at all.
